Breach amps - Castellanza - Italy
Informativa sui Cookie
Breach Amps was founded in 2008 by Pierpaolo Bruschi in Castellanza, Northern Italy, a region renowned for its rich engineering tradition, breathtaking lakes, rolling hills, and the nearby Alps.
From the very beginning, the goal was clear: to create amplifiers that inspire musicians through exceptional dynamics, uncompromising tone, and meticulous craftsmanship. Every design is developed around the belief that an amplifier should become an extension of the player's touch rather than simply amplifying the guitar.
Each Breach amplifier is entirely hand-built in Italy using carefully selected components, point-to-point construction, and custom-designed circuits. Simplicity remains a core philosophy: intuitive controls allow players to focus on their performance while exploring an extraordinarily wide palette of expressive sounds.
Our amplifiers are engineered to deliver remarkable clarity and dimensionality at lower settings, then naturally evolve into rich harmonic overdrive as the power section begins to work. The transition from pristine cleans to dynamic break-up is progressive, musical, and highly responsive to picking intensity and guitar volume.
Cabinets are built from solid pine using traditional dovetail joinery to achieve low weight, exceptional resonance, and long-term durability. Many designs feature floating baffles and open-back construction, creating an open, spacious sound with remarkable projection and depth.
From the very beginning, Jensen® loudspeakers have been an integral part of the Breach sound. Carefully selected models—including the Blackbird, Raptor, C12K and Alnico P12Q—are chosen according to the personality of each amplifier, ensuring the perfect balance of dynamics, articulation, warmth and efficiency.
Every circuit is designed to work seamlessly with pedals while preserving the natural dynamics of the instrument. Rather than imposing a fixed sonic character, Breach amplifiers faithfully translate every nuance of the player's technique, allowing the guitar, pedals, and hands to remain at the center of the performance.
The visual identity of Breach Amps pays tribute to one of Italy's greatest automotive legacies. Inspired by the iconic Lancia rally cars of the 1970s and 1980s, models such as the Stratos, Fulvia HF, Flaminia and Esatau combine timeless Italian design with mechanical precision and unmistakable character.
Today, Breach Amps represents a contemporary Italian boutique workshop where traditional craftsmanship meets original engineering. Every amplifier is individually built with uncompromising attention to detail, resulting in instruments that offer exceptional musicality, reliability, and a distinctive voice designed to inspire players for decades.
